Welcome To the Atomic Wedgies UT web page. Here you will find
Information about who we are and what we're all about. So take a look around,
Poke fun at us or not. But be sure to check out the Taunts page for the latest ribbings.

We are Based in Melbourne, Florida (USA) Unreal Tournament game Clan. We are
deadacated to having fun. Some of us drive for up to 2 hours for the LAN
party's.
Our History
When it all started
Episode 1:
A long time ago, in Rufferto’s house way too near to mention…
We started playing LAN games in 1996.It began with Duke Nukem’ 3D.The fastest
CPU was the all mighty Pentium 200.NO MMX!!! It ran a 4 meg Diamond Stealth.
Then came the Pentium 200 MMX! Duke Nukem’ never ran so smooth!
The network we used was IPX for Windows 95 (cringe). That’s coax (cringe,
cringe)!
When the PII’s came out we knew Duke had outlived it’s usefulness in bloody
slaughters. We needed MORE!!!!
And Elexis said, “Let there be SIN”
BottomFeeder found SIN and our eyes were opened. Finally a
game that allowed all eight of us to play AT THE SAME TIME! We switched to Win
NT and used twisted pair on our network. This lasted us until we found out about
Unreal Tournament. We waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and wa.. you
get the picture. But SIN rocked anyway. Especially the Grappling hook. Spider
Man, Spider Man, Friendly neighborhood Spidery Man. You had to be there.
When we got more than 10 (NT max clients) we switched to
Linux. and man what a difference. It kicked it up. It servers the games a whole
lot better. unleashing the true power of the machine.
“Who will win the tournament?”
Unreal Tournament FINALLY was released and the 16 player
threshold was broken. It was only a pacifier for when Duke 4-ever was to be
released. Now it’s like Duke who…cares?
"We Made it Yogi"
On September 23 2000, we made our
next step which was to hold the LAN party at a Hotel. Which was really cool.
Step up to the mike.
Here we are now July 28 2001
and we have just made a Huge leap that will kick up the fun a bit. We are leasing
a building to have a permanent place to play with not circuit breakers
popping. So come one and come all.
